Matt Forsythe is a Northern Irish actor with extensive screen and stage credits, most recently appearing in BLUE LIGHTS (BBC), MALPRACTICE (ITV) and HARRY WILD (RTÉ). He trained at Drama Studio London and made his West End debut as an understudy in OUR BOYS at the Duchess Theatre, before starring in the award-winning 25th anniversary production of A NIGHT IN NOVEMBER, which toured Ireland and the UK to rave reviews -

Matt plays one of the leading roles in Stephen Large’s THREE’S A SHROUD at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast. He will then revive his character in a spin off of the long-running LOCKDOWN DLA series, NO ROOM AT THE FLAT, at The MAC in Belfast.

Matt will return to BLUE LIGHTS for its fourth series in the recurring role of Aodhan McAllister. He also plays PC Blakefield in the second series of MALPRACTICE for ITV. He can also currently be seen in the fifth series of HARRY WILD for RTE in which he plays a guest role in one episode. Further TV credits include HOPE STREET (BBC), THE FALL (BBC) and LINE OF DUTY (BBC).

He recently completed a run of Christina Reid’s TEA IN A CHINA CUP at the Lyric Theatre in Belfast, directed by Dan Gordon.
